Recently, VOLANT announced the completion of a B+ round financing amounting to hundreds of millions of RMB, jointly invested by Jinding Capital and five listed companies: Bethel (603596), Hailide (002206), Aima Technology (603529), Jingdun Technology (300258), and Bojun Technology (300926). The funds will be used for the airworthiness certification and mass production preparation of VOLANT's VE25 eVTOL, further accelerating its commercialization process, with China Renaissance serving as the exclusive financial advisor for this round.

It is reported that this marks VOLANT's 11th round of financing since its inception. In September of this year, the company had just completed a B round of financing worth hundreds of millions of RMB, led by China Renaissance and SAIC Capital.
About VOLANT
Founded in June 2021, VOLANT (Shanghai VOLANT Aviation Technology Co., Ltd.) is a high-tech company specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. With a focus on passenger-grade eVTOL technology, VOLANT boasts a top-tier professional team. Its flagship product, the VE25 eVTOL, currently holds leading domestic performance parameters. As a Chinese technology company providing sustainable solutions for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM), VOLANT is committed to contributing Chinese expertise to reshaping human transportation.
Key Product: VE25-100 "Tianxing"
The company's first compound-wing eVTOL, the VE25-100 "Tianxing," is one of the largest and most spacious passenger-carrying eVTOLs globally, with a maximum takeoff weight of approximately 2.5 tons, capable of carrying 1 pilot and 5 passengers. It achieves a cruise speed of 235 km/h and a range of 200–400 km. In September 2023, the VE25-100 became the first passenger eVTOL type certification (TC) application project accepted by the Civil Aviation East China Regional Administration. The first review of the certification was completed in 2025, with plans to roll out the first prototype (AC101) and conduct its maiden flight by the end of the year.
Positioned in the commercial passenger sector, the VE25-100 covers six major application scenarios—low-altitude tourism, training, short-haul transport, cargo, emergency rescue, and urban mobility—achieving full coverage of the low-altitude economy. It has already secured confirmed orders from major domestic airlines and leasing companies, including Southern Airlines General Aviation, Yajie Aviation, and Agricultural Bank Financial Leasing.

Investor Perspective
Wang Yihan, Founding Partner of Jinding Capital, stated that the low-altitude economy is a national strategic emerging industry. As an integrator of high-end manufacturing, aerospace, AI, new materials, and new energy, it will play a pivotal role in reshaping industrial landscapes and driving technological innovation. Jinding Capital, as the exclusive investor in this round, firmly believes in VOLANT's leadership in the industry. The company's founder, Dong Ming, and the team have consistently demonstrated professionalism, resilience, and efficiency, achieving key milestones such as the rollout and maiden flight of the engineering prototype, as well as securing multiple confirmed orders. Through this investment, Jinding Capital will collaborate with its industrial partners to leverage their respective strengths and support VOLANT in leading the eVTOL industry.
Founder's Vision
Dong Ming, Founder and CEO of VOLANT, emphasized that China has a solid foundation and immense market potential for eVTOL development. With time, the industry has the potential to grow into a globally competitive pillar, much like China's success in electric vehicles. As a leader in the field, VOLANT is committed to developing safe, reliable, and practical commercial eVTOL solutions, representing China in the global aviation industry's transformation and competition.
